Claudio Abbado - The Berlin Album

The Berlin Album is a survey of Claudio Abbado’s time as chief conductor of the Berliner Philharmoniker compressed onto 2 CDs. In the short period between his appointment on 8 October 1989 and his first concert in his new role on 16 December 1989, history was made in Berlin: it was on 9 November that year that the Berlin Wall fell!
