A young woman stares challengingly out at the viewer; next to her stands a young man, his own appraising gaze fixed upon her. Both literally have their backs to the wall, as if they’ve been cornered while on the run and now have to decide what to do next. The Scandale cover conveys a real attitude of “us against the rest of the world”. And many of the other images created for Alice Sara Ott and Francesco Tristano’s collaborative album mirror that intimate sense of connection between the two artists.
